I’m Jasmin, a Nutritional Health Coach with a focus on perimenopause nutrition, gut health, and lifestyle. Originally from London, I now live in Singapore with my three boys, our very energetic dog, and my husband—meaning the estrogen-to-testosterone ratio in our house is completely out of whack.
I hit perimenopause at 36—much earlier than I ever expected—and it completely changed the way I looked at health. I started diving deep into how nutrition and lifestyle could help, and that’s what led me here: helping other women take back control of their bodies with real, practical solutions that actually work. No fads, no nonsense, just what makes a real difference.
I met Amanda through a networking group here in Singapore, and we hit it off immediately—same mission, different experiences, and a great vibe. The Forties Formula was born out of that connection, bringing together our knowledge to help women navigate this phase of life with confidence.
I love coffee (seriously, I don’t function without it), I blast old-school R&B and hip-hop in the car, and I’m always in the kitchen cooking up something new. The Forties Formula podcast is all about making this stage of life easier, healthier, and a whole lot better—with straight-talking advice, a bit of fun, and no one telling you to ‘just relax’ when your hormones are all over the place.
Amanda here, a Metabolic Health Coach and director of Singapore's first comprehensive metabolic health centre, LIFT Clinic. I'm a (sometimes) proud American from California who spent her last decade staying busy building businesses, getting married, and popping out 3 children in four years (the last one at a "very geriatric" 41 years old).
A lifelong athlete and competitor, I can't help but strive for self-improvement - it's in my DNA. And while I don't expect all of my clients to be wired like me, I absolutely think there's deep value in the freedom of discipline, the power of consistency, and the confidence that comes from achieving optimal physical and mental health - especially in your forties!
Jasmin and I met at a coffee date that turned into a verbal manifesto of what we both believe to be true: that women in midlife are being underserved by popular media, and that conversations that empower, educate, and inspire them are increasingly important to hear. Enter: The Forties Formula podcast.
When I'm not podcasting, lifting barbells, or writing my upcoming book on perinatal fitness & nutrition, you'll find me at a playground or riding bikes with my kids. There is only so much time we have in this life - try to spend it connected to the people, voices, and habits that matter.
